I have got 15 years of experience working as a tour guide in Varanasi. Prior to being a guide, I spent ten years working for hotels Taj and Radisson, giving me a good experience in the tourism sector. Sarnath is the place where Buddha preached his first sermon after enlightenment in Bodh Gaya. It is a great pilgrimage centre for Buddhist. Ganga Aarti

Ganga Aarti in Varanasi is a highly spiritual and captivating ritual that takes place every evening on the bank of the Ganges river. It is performed on a stage by a group of young Hindu priests. Chanting of hymns and blowing of the conch shell marks the start of the Aarti after that priests do this ceremony with incenses, flowers, and fire. More or less 12000 pilgrims gather there to see the Aarti. The Aarti starts after the sunset at around 6:30 pm in the winter season (7:00 pm in the summer season) and is a forty-five-minute long soulful ritual.
